Hanging out(the window)

Hellie brought her knee up to her chin as she sat on the window still, half hanging out the window.
The cool breeze wasn't too bad and though she would hate to admit it Hellie enjoyed it.
pulling the cigarette from her lips she blew out smoke gazing into the distance studying the distant city.

She looked over her shoulder at the common room taking in all the detail before looking back out and returning to her own world thinking about the new school year.

Carter stepped into the common room, her hair frizzed from the wind, each cheek had a spot of red on them from the sun. She had been outside enjoying the day and reading, "Well, if isn't my good friend the Broken Girl." Carter said pleasantly as her eyes found her way over to Hellie Lou, "Still smoking cancer sticks, I see ..." Carter said sarcastically, strolling over to her and leaning casually against the window sill, beaming.

Hellie grinned at Carter before taking a drag on her cigarette, she blew out the window before looking at the girl.
"yep... that or thinking about flying" Hellie offered with a smirk before nodding her head towards the open window,
"Haven't decided which though?" Hellie joked

"Flying would be fun ..." Carter nodded in agreement and laughed, "It would be amazing if we could .. just hop right out the window ..." She sighed, contently, thinking about it, tilting her head slightly so she could see the grounds, the sun-light streaming through ...

Hellie smirked and climbed off the window still "well no doubt a few people might have tried" Hellie admitted before flicking her cigarette out the window.
"So what does optimistic girl think of the school so far?" Hellie asked looking to Carter.
